Holy abs! This class is not your average barre/pilates class. Talk about challenging! I have to say its become one of my new faves. You are engaging your muscles for the entire class, and there is hardly ever a break. It's definitely one of the more challenging abdominal workouts that I have ever done. I love how this workout creates a long lean muscle look for your body. You know I am all about music, and they play a great playlist to keep you motivated and moving during class.
I love to mix this workout in with some of my other favorites like Barry's Bootcamp and Core Power Yoga's Yoga Sculpt class. The Megaformer machine brings a new intense level to my workout that I haven't had before. The instructors are great, and super helpful with making sure you are using the correct form. Don't worry if they come over to adjust you during class, I get corrected all the time. There are so many different exercises to learn and master, its a fun learning and burning experience.

Studio Novo offers the Lagree Fitness Method, which is a workout performed on a machine called the Megaformer. The Megaformer's unique design allows for a workout that incorporates strength, cardio, endurance, balance, core strength and flexibility. Studio Novo offers 50 minute, full-body workout classes. The Megaformer allows for a workout that is low-impact on the joints, while being intense on the muscles. There are 10 Megaformers in each studio, so a maximum of 10 people per class, which allows for a personal training feel, with the motivational benefits of a group class setting. The Lagree Fitness Method is great for both men and women of all ages and fitness levels.
The body shake effect you get is no joke so you will know for sure it is working! I truly think that if you incorporate this in your workout routine you will see a change in your body and muscles quickly. Be sure to sign up ahead of time because classes fill up quickly.
